The campaigning ex-MP, Alan Simpson, has submitted his evidence to the NAW Environment and Sustainability Committee.
It’s compelling stuff. He uses Germany as the poster-child for a country which has started on a wholesale shift away from nuclear and fossil fuels, and towards renewables. Industry has been a huge beneficiary, as wholesale electricity prices have collapsed under large amounts of installed wind and solar energy.
RenewableUK Cymru endorses the direction taken by Germany’s ‘Enegiewende’, and commend it to Welsh Government for consideration as a legitimate, tested way to undertake our own energy revolution.
